The heralded and challenging China Camp State Park and Nike Site mountain bike trails are minutes away, and great road rides start and end at the shop frequently.  Commuters energetically pass through our newly opened bike paths while recreational and comfort riders enjoy our beautiful Terra Linda community daily. Within walking distance are great food options in the neighborhood and even a market right next door.  The friendly neighborhood is an EXCELLENT new-bike test ride area, and our private, traffic-protected, parking lot make for a unique, safe and fun small test area for all, especially the young.

Other nearby attractions include the Frank Lloyd Wright designed Marin Civic Center, the Mall at Northgate, Sunday morning Farmer's Market, Dominican University, China Camp and McNear's Parks and Beaches, Embassy Suites hotel, and the Marin Oscher Jewish Community Center.  A short drive away yields: the Mount Tamalpais watershed, Muir Woods, Napa Valley, a variety of Beaches, Camp Tamarancho trails, Sausalito and San Francisco.  

We are conveniently located seconds from Hwy 101, just north of San Rafael, and only 20 minutes north of the Golden Gate Bridge.  From Hwy 101, take the N San Pedro Rd exit  to our cross street, Merrydale Rd.  Bike-N-Bean is just 1/4 mi. down on the left side of the street, next to Dandy Market.
